Shopping by Swapping!

 

If you haven't yet had a taste of the wonderful experience of bartering, you have no idea what you're missing! Through swapping, you can obtain products and services without any outlay of cash, just by providing something of equal value. If you really want to bargain, offer something of greater value than the item you wish to obtain. That will get the seller moving and it's an offer he or she can't refuse!

I love to barter, it has given me countless advantages and great things. So, I'm open to bartering with you if you see anything on my site you'd like to have and want to offer a trade. I will consider any reasonable offers, so don't be afraid to ask. You'll see this logo all over my site:


Another source of trade-able goods is also available. Visit my online auctions and check out the inventory currently up for sale. I'm willing to negotiate a swap for most of those items too (just ask first) ...

If you want to trade for postage stamps:  Postage is non-negotiable so we can accept the equivalent trade value for anything on our site in the form of new U.S. postage stamps. For example: You want something being sold here for $12. Simply pay with $12 worth of new U.S. postage stamps rather than money!

If you want to trade a product:  Due to the time involved in working the barter deal, and the extra time required for me to liquidate your traded item for sale ... exchange value is 75%. In other words, if you would like something of mine which is listed for $10, offer a trade on something of yours worth $17.50.
If your desired choice is something currently on my auctions or in my store, the barter value is your winning bid/  Buy It Now price/ or purchase price  plus 75%, plus shipping.  You must win the auction / complete the purchase in order for this arrangement to work, by the way. We can still leave feedback for one another's profiles since the transaction will have been completed, and we'll still be covered under the protection policies of the auction site or store.

If you are an auction seller, this is a spectacular way to unload the stuff you're tired of looking at, and I can do the same! Wouldn't it be fun to trade things either for resale or for personal use?

So then, if you see anything of interest anywhere on this site or in the booths above and you have something interesting to offer, contact me and we'll discuss a possible deal. Please be specific about what you have (photos would be great) and its verifiable value, and which product of mine you are interested in trading it for. I've made it simple for you by listing everything up for trade ... this arrangement will work best if I have a list to work from too rather than generalities so that we can both save valuable time and energy.

If I have contacted you with a barter request for one of your products currently up for auction, how this would work is I would bid the agreed-upon value price and you would close the auction with me as the winner. This will enable us to both be covered under the auction's protection policies and to proceed with the transaction as normal ... with the exception of the method of payment of course. I would "pay" you with the traded item we agreed upon. The shipping price would be added to the barter value.
 


 So waddaya say??
