Deborah’s affection
for writing and creative self-expression developed from a love of reading
instilled by her parents at the early age of four. In addition to works of
nonfiction, she enjoys composing poetry and songs.
Mrs. McGeorge has
published numerous articles on the subject of searching for employment,
appearing in career-related publications such as The
Wall Street Journal’s National Business Employment Weekly and The
Collegiate Recruiter. As a regular contributor to Experience
Required Newsletter and a freelance writer, Deborah enjoys sharing
her successful techniques with motivated readers. She has spoken before
audiences and has been spotlighted on the radio and in newspapers to promote
her book, The
Job Seeker’s Guide to Success.
Deborah also operates a
research service, writes proposals, brochures, reports, and other promotional
material for various businesses, as well as resume counseling/preparation for
clients. She attends weekly speeches and frequent seminars, creating
presentations and handling various other assignments as part of a study group.
She has been involved in a volunteer teaching field since 1985.
Mrs. McGeorge received
her education in Jacksonville, Florida, majoring in business. She and her
husband own and operate a janitorial service.
Originally from
Westport, Massachusetts, Deborah now resides in St.
Augustine, Florida with her husband Jody and her family.
